2023 year - “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar”
A wonderful tradition, established by the Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to give names to each year, proclaiming in its slogan the key guidelines of national development at a new stage, contributes to the an increase in the patriotic spirit and desire of every citizen to be involved and make a personal contribution to the colossal work carried out in the country.
According to the established tradition, initiated by the Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, this year 2023 has been named “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar” and our Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved this motto for 2023, along with which the official emblem of the next year was adopted, this symbol carries a semantic meaning of which “reflects the desire of the Turkmen people, together with the youth, to follow the course of the Hero-Arkadag under the leadership of Arkadagly Serdar, to work hard for the further prosperity of the beloved Motherland”.
With great enthusiasm, the people of Turkmenistan received the message about the approval of their proposal for the motto of the year – “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar”, which was a tribute of high respect to our President, who confidently leads people and Fatherland to new achievements as well as the motto “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar” will impulse once more Turkmenistan to strengthen national unity, solidarity, raise the patriotic spirit of our people together with youth.
At present, under the direction of the Esteemed President, the united people of our country live, enjoying the benefits of a happy life, selflessly working, and successfully solving the tasks set to transform all sectors of the national economy. This further strengthens the faith of compatriots in a bright future.
The ideological message of the motto of 2023, which became the expression of the will of the people, is aimed at widely popularizing the large-scale achievements of the Fatherland inextricably linked with the activities of the Head of state, progressive socio-economic transformations and peacemaking initiatives being implemented in our country.
The motto reflects the feelings of endless pride, love and respect of the Turkmen people for their National Leader and Esteemed President as well as confidence in the future happy day of the Independent, permanently Neutral Motherland.
For 2023, large-scale plans and tasks have been identified to further strengthen the national economy, develop the spheres of science, education and culture, health care, and the social system. All of them are aimed at increasing the level of well-being of the Turkmen people, the quality of their life, as well as assuring of the implementation of these plans, the popularization of the progressive domestic and foreign policy of the President of Turkmenistan, the achievements of the beloved Motherland on the path of peace and progress.
The motto of 2023 corresponds to the mentality of the Turkmen, their cultural traditions, it is inextricably linked with humanistic principles, which are now the basis of the domestic and foreign policy of the Esteemed President of the country, the progressive development of our state.
The main motto of the country also includes the idea of the continuity of generations and upbringing of youth in the spirit of boundless love and pride for the Motherland – Independent, permanently Neutral Turkmenistan. But this motto is related to the youth because the role of youth in nation-building or development is very important and, this is because the development of any nation depends on the future generation. There is no doubt that youth is the most dynamic and important segment of the population in any country.
It is a well-known fact that the youth of any country is a great asset as well as it is also dignity of the society. They are indeed the future of the country and represent it at every level. The role of youths in nation-building is more important. In other words, the intelligence and work of the youth will take the country on the pathway of success. As every citizen is equally responsible, the youth is too. They are the building blocks of a country.
We can proudly say that the motto is considered to have a semantic meaning for all spheres of the development of the beloved country.
