SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE WAS HELD
On May 1, 2026, a scientific conference entitled “The Study of Magtymguly Fragi’s Literary Heritage in Central Asian States” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The conference was moderated by Ogulgurban Ezimova, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences of the Institute. Additionaly, an informative presentation was delivered by Perhat Mahremov, Lecturer at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy. Ogulgurban Ezimova shared insightful details regarding the poet’s enduring legacy with the participants.
The speakers emphasized that the creative works of Magtymguly Fragi are a spiritual treasure not only for the Turkmen people but for all Eastern nations, particularly the states of Central Asia. Furthermore, lecturers highlighted the poet’s themes of unity, patriotism, and humanism, which continue to resonate in modern Central Asian diplomacy. The conference concluded with an interactive Q&A, where students received detailed answers to their questions.
