Training course on the project of the OSCE
On November 21-23, 2022, a three - day online training course was held within the framework of the project “Raising awareness of the OSCE“ through via digital system at the Institute of International relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. It was organized by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. The main aim is to increase the knowledge of teachers and students of higher education institutions of our country about the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, its structures and activities. During the training course, the representatives noted that the OSCE was established in 1975 in Helsinki, Finland. It is the largest regional security organization with 57 b participating states. The main purpose of this organization is to establish peace, stability and fruitful cooperation in Europe and Central Asia. The headquarter of the OSCE is situated in Vienna, Austria as well as Turkmenistan became a member of this organization in 1992. According to the speeches, that the issues on the important element in maintaining the necessary level of security in the OSCE space is to increase mutual trust and develop dialogue, interaction between peoples of different cultures and civilizations were considered to be discussed while the lecture.
At the end of the course, interesting views were exchanged between students and lecturers. The training course was of importance and a good opportunity for students to get acquainted with the prospects for further cooperation between the organization and Turkmenistan to strengthen security in the region and the level of partnership of both sides.
