Video conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Neutrality of Turkmenistan
On December 15, Chary Geldiyevich Niyazov, an Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, delivered an online lecture for the students of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia. The lecture, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Neutrality of Turkmenistan, highlighted that Permanent Neutrality is a fundamental principle that defines the core of the activity of Turkmenistan in the international arena. Moreover, participants of the online lecture noted the importance of Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan in ensuring sustainable development of the world.
During the online lecture an Associate Professor Chary Nyyazov spoke about the priority directions of Turkmenistan's foreign policy, which is based on peacefulness and good neighborliness, the principles of neutrality and resolving international issues through political and diplomatic means, non-interference in the internal affairs of other states, as well as the policy of "Open doors".
At the end of the meeting participants noted the unique opportunities and the positive role of neutrality in resolving political, economic and humanitarian issues.
