Video conference between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Meiji University in Japan.
On December 18, 2020, a roundtable video conference was held between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan andMeiji University in Japan. The meeting was attended by Professor Hermann Susanne, Deputy Director of the Department of International Relations, Meiji University, and Prof. Nakaya Chiharu, Chief Specialist, International Relations Office, Meiji University.
The meeting was attended by Ogulgurban Sapargeldiyevna Ezimova, Head of the Department of Social Sciences, Ph.D., Maya Orazova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of World Languages, and Akmuhammet Jumaguliyev, Lecturer at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacyof the Institute of International Relations.
During the meeting the speakers discussed about friendly relations currently taking place between the two countries. They noted that as a result of Turkmenistan’s policy of neutrality in international relations, on the basis of positive cooperation with many countries of the world, important programs of universal interest have been adopted and are being successfully implemented.
They paid special attention to the issues of Turkmen-Japanese relations in the field of science and education and stressed that important relations between the two higher educational institutions are further enhancing.
At the end of the meeting, many thanks were expressed to our esteemed President for his successful initiatives in the development of such active international relations.
