BRAIN RING COMPETITION ENTITLED “PARTNERSHIP OF TURKMENISTAN WITH WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION”
On June 10, 2024, on the occasion of the Day of Science a brain ring competition entitled “Partnership of Turkmenistan with World Trade Organization” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, among the students of the International University for Humanities and Development, the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev, Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov, Oguz Han Engineering and Technologies University of Turkmenistan, Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, Turkmen State Institute of Finance, Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan. The purpose of the competition was to in-depth study of the main directions of the development of Turkmenistan's foreign trade policy, to identify talented young people among students of the Higher Education Institutions.
Jury members of the competition were the head of the Department of International Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Atageldi Haljanov, the head of the Department of Cooperation with the World Trade Organization of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Ilham Yarashov, member of the Committee on Economic Affairs of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Serdar Arazov.
According to the results of the competition, the student teams of the International University for Humanities and Development won the 1st place, the Turkmen State Financial Institute took the 2nd place and the Telecommunications and Informatics Institute of Turkmenistan took the 3rd place. Valuable gifts and relevant diplomas were awarded to the winning students on behalf of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan.
