PRESENTATION OF THE PUBLICATION OF THE BOOK “TRADITIONS OF TURKMEN STATEHOOD” INTO THE UZBEK LANGUAGE
On May 7, 2021, the presentation of the Uzbek language edition of the book, titled “Traditions of Turkmen Statehood” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The presentation ceremonywas attended by the teachers and the students of the Institute.
Nowadays, Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation is risingup to a high level of meaning and quality. The publication of this edition has become a new proof of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. During the presentation of the book in Uzbek language, the speakers emphized that it was a great opportunity for friendly Uzbek people to read the information about the national traditions, noble principles, rich historical and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people in their mother tongue, and it was also another evidence on the development of relations based on mutual respect and trust between two friendly countries.
So, the speakers emphasized that the publication of this book in Chinese, Russian, Azerbaijani, Japanese, Georgian, Ukrainian, Turkish and Arabic languages, is the great possibility for foreign readers to get acquainted with the Turkmen people's culture, national heritage, rich history and the noble principles that trace their origins back from ancient time. The publication of the new edition will help to develop further friendly relations between the Turkmen and the Uzbek people which has become a tradition.
