A CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO TURKMEN DIPLOMACY WAS HELD
On October 9, 2026, a scientific-practical conference titled “Neutral Turkmenistan: Diplomatic Experience in Ensuring Interregional Peace and Stability” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, organized by the Department of Peace and Neutrality.
The conference was moderated by Selbi Gandymova, a lecturer at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy. Speeches were delivered by Ovezdurdy Muhammetberdiyev, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor at the Department of Peace and Neutrality, Gulshirin Kadyrova, a master’s student specializing in Digital Diplomacy and Rejepguly Mashadov, a 2nd-year student of the Faculty of International Relations.
The speeches outlined the key areas of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy, ensuring peace and security at the global and regional levels, promoting the principles of neutrality and adhering to humanitarian principles in maintaining stability. Furthermore, the rich experience of our neutral country in resolving interregional and international humanitarian issues was emphasized.
At the conclusion of the conference, participants discussed in detail the activities of Neutral Turkmenistan in the international arena and engaged in an active and meaningful exchange of views.
