A lesson with members of the School of Young Diplomats
On May 1, 2024, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, a training session was held on the topic “The motto of the year is a guide to a happy future” for members of the School of Young Diplomats, organized by the scientific club “ Lingvo” World » Department of World Languages of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The lesson was held in Russian and English.
During the lesson, instructors from the department of world languages of the institute told the schoolchildren in detail about the motto of the year. As you know, the motto of this year was the lines from the poem by the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi.” The events carried out in our country to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the fount of reason, of the classical poet Magtymguly Fragi, together with the international community, are important in studying the rich and priceless literary heritage of our poet-philosopher, who was included in the golden fund of world literature.
Also during the lesson, a small quiz was organized in English, where schoolchildren solved problems and answered logical questions, which contributed to the improvement of their language skills, as well as the development of critical thinking among students.
At the end of the lesson, schoolchildren recited poems by Magtymguly in English, Russian and Turkmen, adding color to this lesson.
At the end of the lesson, a tour of the Institute was organized for schoolchildren. Participants of the School of Young Diplomats visited the museum, as well as the training studio of our university.
