Road safety
On September 22, 2021, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, an educational and explanatory meeting dedicated to the month “Road safety - the peace of our lives” was held. The event was organized by the primary public organizations of the institute. The meeting was attended by representatives of national law enforcement agencies and the Health Information Center of the Ministry of Health Care and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, speakers told about the advantages of underground and overground pedestrian crossings, objects aimed at ensuring the safety of pedestrians, and proper observance of traffic rules. Particular attention was paid to issues of behavior and culture of speech in public places and responsibility for violation of national legislation. Advice was given on adherence to a healthy lifestyle, dietary rules, dressing manners, protection from the sun and the proper use of masks. At the end of the meeting, the participants wished the President of Turkmenistan success in his activities for the benefit of the health and well-being of our people.
