A TRAINING SESSION ON PREVENTIVE DIPLOMACY WAS HELD
On November 15, 2024, a training session on “Preventive Diplomacy" entitled "The Non-use of Force Method in Resolving Military-Political Conflicts", that had been organized by the Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan, was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The training session was conducted by Kakajan Mommadov, the senior lecturer at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy.
During the training session, K.Mommadov emphasized the importance and significance of Preventive Diplomacy, particularly in supporting peace and highlighting the vital role of the special political bodies at the global affairs of the United Nations.
K.Mommadov also noted that Preventive Diplomacy remains as an essential tool for assisting states in identifying and eliminating threats to peace and security. The students listened to the senior lecturer with great interest and asked questions that intrigued them.
