The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Academy of the Foreign Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan
An online roundtable dedicated to 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality was held on November 12 at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of the Foreign Service Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan and leadership team of the Institute.
During the meeting, Begench Matliyev, Vice-Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs delivered a congratulatory speech, emphasizing the priorities of the foreign policy of Turkmenistan based on peace and goodwill, the principles of neutrality and resolving international issues through political and diplomatic means, not to interfere in the internal affairs of other states and "Open Doors" policy.
Mohammad Wasif, Director of the Foreign Service Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, also noted that for many years Turkmenistan's neutrality has been and will continue to serve as a way of addressing the pressing issues of the international community, and strengthening friendly relations between the countries. He assured that Pakistan has and will continue to be a friend and reliable political partner.
At the end of the meeting, the participants noted unique opportunities in resolving political, economic and humanitarian issues and positive role and the positive role of neutrality and wished each other good luck.
