International Sports Journalist Day
International Sports Journalist Day is celebrated in many countries around the world every year on July 2, since 1995, at the initiative of the International Sports Press Association.
In today's digital age, sports journalists work both in print media and on radio, television and Internet, and digital sports journalism today especially widespread, which is facilitated by a huge number of Internet platforms for communication: at the disposal of journalists today websites, blogs, social networks, instant messengers, etc.
Sport at all times has been and remains the unifying force that unites not only individuals, but also entire countries and continents. The spirit of fair struggle and the desire for a healthy lifestyle are these components of modern sport combine the best that humanity has achieved during its existence.
On the international day of the sports journalist ISPA and national associations of sports journalists ceremonial meetings. In many countries, this day is awarded the best representatives of the media in the field of sports. Some publications on this day organize special sports events where sports journalists can prove their commitment to sports, physical education and a healthy lifestyle not only in word, but also in deed.
