International Conference on Priorities for Peaceful and Sustainable Development of Central Asia
May 30, 2022, an online international conference entitled “Priorities for Peaceful and Sustainable Development of Central Asia: Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan Approaches” was organized by the International Institute of Central Asia, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Research Center for Strategic Studies.
The conference was held in two sessions. The first session was conducted under the title “Challenges and Threats for Central Asia in Modern Conditions”. The second one focused on the priority areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. The representatives of the Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations also took part.
The conference served as a platform for exchange of views between expert and analytical and research societies of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
