A CREATIVE MEETING “PEARL CITY – ASHGABAT”
On March 30, 2021, a creative meeting titled “PEARL CITY –ASHGABAT” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the 140 th anniversary of Ashgabat city. The specialists of the Main Archive Department under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Atageldy Garyagdyev, a folk artist of Turkmenistan, the professors and students of the institute participated in this meeting. This creative meeting was organized by the World Language Department and Social organizations of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Main Archive Department under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, there was an exhibition, organized by the Main Archive Department under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan. There were a number of pictures, depicting the history of our capital. So, a documental film about history of our wonderful city Ashgabat was also shown. During the meeting, the students of the Institute performed their presentations and recited the poems about our city in English and French. Exciting songs performed by Atageldi Garyagdyev, a folk artist of Turkmenistan evoked pleasant feelings of all participants.
