Scientific conference "Regulated use of water resources in the face of climate change"
On April 22, 2023, at the 500-seat conference hall of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a scientific conference entitled "Regular use of water resources in the face of climate change".
The meeting was conducted by Magtymguly Akmyradov, adviser of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkmenistan Azizbek Madmarov, Head of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Center in Turkmenistan John McGregor, deputy director of the National institute of deserts, flora and fauna of the Ministry of nature protection of Turkmenistan Serdar Eyeberenov, temporary representative of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan Esmail Ebrahim Zadeh, adviser of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan Dastan Suleimenov, head of the Projects Department of the United Nations Development Program in Turkmenistan Rovshen Nurmuhammedov and "Turkmensuvtaslama" of the State Committee on Water Resources of Turkmenistan Georgy Kurtovezov, Director of the Hydrotechnical and Watering Laboratory of the Institute gave a speech at the meeting.
