On February 24, 2021, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting titled “Pain today – gain tomorrow” in order to advocate the importance of observing the rules and regulations of the country, avoiding harmful habits and following a healthy lifestyle. It was attended by the representatives of the Court of Berkarar district of Ashgabat City, the Ministry of Health Care and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the students of the Institute. At the beginning of the meeting the speakers talked about the honesty, diligence, conscience and other qualities inherent in the Turkmen people, inherited from our ancestors, and urged everyone to follow those principles. They also told students real life stories and cited examples.
The concept “purity” is very broad, and it is related to the body, thoughts, spiritual world, conscience and labour. Therefore, to explain the young generation of the importance of following the rules of purity, cleanness, hygiene and diligence is a duty of everyone, since they are the core values of our ancestors. At the end of the meeting, it was emphasized that holding such meetings is essential, and expressed gratitude to our esteemed President for the conditions created to study, work and create.
