Sharing the experience of «Iwatani» company in Hydrogen Energy Development
On May 10, 2022, an online meeting was held with the Japanese company «Iwatani» and Turkmen state universities, research centers as well as enterprises on the issue of cooperation and experience in the production of hydrogen energy. The professors and students of the the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas and the representatives of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, State Concern “Turkmenhimiya”, “Turkmengas”, “Turkmenneft” attended this meeting through via video.
During the meeting the important issue was considered to be discussed aimed at one of the priorities of the foreign policy of our country is to develop the structure of energy diplomacy and the main task is to strengthen the development and maintenance of international cooperation in this area. In this regard, on the basis of the international initiatives of our esteemed President in the field of energy a draft Roadmap has been developed for the development of international cooperation in hydrogen energy in Turkmenistan for 2022-2023.
The project includes a set of measures related to the creation of domestic hydrogen energy based on modern technologies provided by high-level specialists. During the meeting, the main attention was paid to the consideration of factors influencing the development of energy worldwide. The issues of international cooperation of Turkmenistan in the field of energy and some aspects of energy diplomacy were also touched upon.
