THE SEMINAR OF EXPERTS OF THE CIS HAS STARTED ITS WORK IN CHINA
On October 30, 2024, the seminar for mass media specialists for Central Asian countries began its work in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China. The seminar, focusing on trends in media development in the modern world, is organized by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the International Economic and Technological Cooperation in Broadcasting.
Alongside representatives from Central Asian countries, a delegation from Turkmenistan is also participating in the seminar. Specifically, Turkmenistan is represented at the journalism-focused seminar by experts from the editorial staff of the State News Agency’s electronic newspaper, “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, as well as specialists from the country’s foreign policy office and the International Press Center.
On the first day of the seminar for media specialists from Central Asian countries, participants exchanged views on the impact of the digital world on media operations and the role of journalists in promptly delivering news about events occurring between nations. Additionally, there was an in-depth discussion on the work carried out by the television and radio broadcasting services of People’s Republic of China.
The workshop will continue until November 12.
