FESTIVE CELEBRATION ON THE OCCASION OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
On March 5, 2026, a festive event has been held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. It was attended by the faculty and student body of the National School of Turkmen Diplomacy.
Speaking at the event, the rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, G. Yusupova, congratulated all women on the upcoming International Women's Day. As was noted during the festive ceremony, owing to the tireless efforts of our highly esteemed President, a national legislative system has been formed in our country that guarantees the welfare of women. Currently, in all spheres of our country, great opportunities are created for women to engage with integrity and make a worthy contribution to the further development of our Motherland.
In the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, comprehensive measures are implemented to support young families and enhance the professional competencies of young specialists, particularly women, while providing modern facilities for their education and holistic well-being. As is known, Turkmenistan holds membership in a number of key United Nations bodies, including the Executive Board of UN Women. All these initiatives underscore Turkmenistan's steadfast commitment to addressing global gender policy objectives through strategic cooperation with the United Nations and other multilateral institutions.
During the ceremony, on behalf of our highly respected President, monetary gifts were solemnly presented to the female faculty and students of the Institute. Musical performances in foreign languages, prepared by the students of the Institute on the occasion of the holiday, added a pleasant touch to the ceremony.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants expressed their sincere gratitude to our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for creating the conditions for the comprehensive development of Turkmen diplomacy and the realization of the scientific and educational potential of young people.
