INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FORUM HAS BEEN HELD
On April 7-8, 2021, International Youth Forum was organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Council. The Forum, which was held in video conference format, was attended by representatives of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, Young Ambassadors for Sustainable Development Goals and others. Its main purpose was to discuss the adverse effects of COVID-19 on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
President of the Economic and Social Council, President of the 75th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, Secretary-General of the United Nations, UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth and other high-ranking officials addressed the youth forum. In their speeches, they stressed that young people are considered to be a great force in the economy, public life, in the development and implementation of innovations.
The forum has become a unique platform for exchange of experiences and discussions.
