ONLINE CONFERENCE
On October 20, 2022, a live video conference on the state of transport and logistics infrastructure of Central Asian countries and their development perspectives was held. Representatives of the Tajik, Kyrgyz, Kazakh sides and the Scientific Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan participated in the meeting organized by the Uzbek delegation.
During the conference held via live video communication, it was noted that the establishment of a modern logistics system in the conditions of increasing foreign trade turnover, export and import of goods of the Central Asian countries is considered as one of the important issues. Additionally, during the speeches, it was noted by the Turkmen representative that the practical implementation of the advanced logistics system for interstate transportation of goods makes it possible to reduce transport costs and, as a result, to make the price of goods produced in Central Asian countries more competitive, which becomes an important factor in the social and economic development of the countries of the region.
