An online meeting
On April 28, 2022, at Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was held a working meeting via videoconference between Scientific Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute and Center for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey (SAM). The meeting was conducted by the representatives of the Centers.
During the meeting, the head of the research center Shiri Shiriyev gave a detailed account of the goals and objectives of the newly opened scientific center at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and said that in the future, establishing cooperative relations between the relative centers of the countries of the region will be one of the main tasks. Alper Aktas, a representative of Center for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, also stressed the need for further exchanges of ideas in the development of relations between the two countries' research centers and noted that conducting roundtable discussions on issues which are of interest to them and the publication of articles on this subject would be of great importance.
At the end of the meeting, the sides emphasized the significance of cooperation in analyzing the current political situation in the region and the world, as well as the issues facing the century.
