Photo competition
On May 25, 2021, a photo competition titled "History of Ashgabat in Photographs" was held on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the founding of the city of Ashgabat, organized by the Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The condition of the competition is to describe the history of our pearl city Ashgabat through the photographs, to create an archive of photographs and to write historical comments and dates.
The competition was held among the students of the Faculty of International Journalism, and each group presented their photos to this competition. According to the results of the competition the main prize was awarded to the 3rd year students of the Faculty of International Journalism, the 2nd year students took the 1st place and the 1st year students won the 3rd place. The winners were awarded with honorary letters and valuable gifts.
