The training session titled “Geopolitical Interests of Energy Diplomacy: The Role of Oil and Gas in the World Econom” was held
On April 20, 2026, a training session titled “Geopolitical Interests of Energy Diplomacy, the Role of Oil and Gas in the World Economy” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Students specializing in “Energy Diplomacy” from the training center for key areas of Turkmen diplomacy at the institute participated in the session.
The session was led by B. Karayev, a senior lecturer of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. During the session, the impact of energy diplomacy on the economic growth of our country and the export of oil and gas in the global market were discussed in detail.
At the end of the training session, students received comprehensive answers to their questions. Conducting regular training sessions on energy diplomacy, an important field of diplomacy, encourages students to increase their knowledge in this area. Thus, the latest training session dedicated to energy diplomacy was highly effective.
