Meeting on Energy Diplomacy
On December 22, 2022, meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Belgium, Sapar Palvanov on the theme «Energy Diplomacy» was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan within the framework of the Training Center on priority areas of diplomacy of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, Ambassador made a speech about the history of Turkmen-Belgium relations, the high-level visits of the state leaders, as well as studying the possibilities of energy diplomacy, ensuring energy security, the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the field of creating modern transport infrastructure. He spoke in detail about the ongoing work on the rational use of energy in the region, and also noted the priorities of the policy of the two countries related to the issues of the environmental protection, care for nature, conversation of its resources for future generations, reasonable use of the land and energy resources to create good conditions for life of the Turkmen people, to unite the efforts of the world community in achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
The meeting was very effective for the students and they got comprehensive answers to their questions.
