Education for Sustainable Development 2030 Central Asia Sub-regional Meeting (online) was held
On April 4, 2023, Mahriban Gelenova, senior lecturer at the Department of World Languages of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the representatives from various sectors of Turkmenistan participated in the Central Asian Interregional Conference on Education for Sustainable Development through via. The conference was organized by the United Nations Scientific, Educational and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific (Bangkok Office). In addition, experts working in the field of education from the countries of the Central Asian region also participated in the sectors of the Conference and each of them presented their analytical topics. During the conference they also discussed several issues of interest to implement strategic development plan as well as they emphasized the importance of a strategic plan to improve the education until 2030 in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in the countries.
