THE CONSECUTIVE TRAININGS ON THE GOALS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
On December 5, 2022, the consecutive trainings on the Sustainable Development Goals was held at the Scientific and Methodological Center for the Sustainable Development Goals of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event, organized as part of the approved program for the 2022-2023 academic year, was attended by the workers of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan, teachers and students of the Institute. During the trainings, the specialist of the Scientific and Methodological Center for Sustainable Development Goals, including Lecturer of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev, acting head of the Industrial Department of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan, senior researcher of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan delivered speeches. Participants discussed in detail SDG 7: Affordable and clean energy, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
In the course of trainings, the speakers emphasized the importance of clean and affordable energy, industrialization and innovation, as well as significance of peace and strong institutions in achieving Sustainable Development Goals. At the end of the trainings, exchange of views took place among the participants.
