CONSECUTIVE ROUND OF TRAINING SESSIONS ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS HAVE BEEN HELD
On June 27, 2024, consecutive round of training sessions on Sustainable Development Goals have been held at the Scientific and Methodological Center for Sustainable Development Goals of the Institute of International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in accordance with the program of the Center for the 2023-2024 academic year, as well as on the occasion of the 1st anniversary of Arkadag city in cooperation with the United Nations Office in Ashgabat.
Representatives of the mass media of the country took part in the training sessions. During the session, the work to reduce the harmful effects of global climate change carried out in our country under the wise leadership of our highly respected President, the goals and objectives of the United Nations, the sustainable development of cities and settlements, and the tasks of providing decent living conditions for people were discussed. In this regard, the great significance of the city of Arkadag was highlighted. The city of Arkadag is a clear example of the dynamic development of Turkmenistan. Its construction is carried out on the basis of advanced methods of architecture and urban construction in accordance with the standards of "smart" cities, "green" technologies and high environmental standards.
