AN INTERESTING COMPETITION AND A SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR WERE HELD
On May 1, 2024, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the scientific organization of the Department of Social Studies "Paihas and Parasat" and the scientific-creative organization of the Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism "Young Journalists" jointly organized a competition on the book of the President of Turkmenistan "Anew – Culture Originated from the Millennia" in order to deeply study the meaning of the book. The competition was held among the 1st year students and was held in a form of a scientific conference connecting the past and the present. Active members of the institute's faculties took part in the competition. During the scientific seminar, the students explained the importance of the President's new book on a scientific basis. Also, four teams from the faculties of the institute competed against each other. The teams competed according to the terms of the competition, such as making a presentation on the chapters of the new book of the President of Turkmenistan, answering specially prepared questions, solving crossword puzzles, and answering questions about the features of Magtymguly Pyragy's works in the book. According to the results of the competition, the team of 1st year students of the Faculty of International Journalism took the 1st place, and the team of 1st year students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations took the 2nd place.
In addition, in the competition held by students to quickly and correctly answer the questions prepared from the book of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan " Anew – Culture Originated from the Millennia ," the 1st year student of the Faculty of International Relations Sahyvett Khummetjumaev took the 1st place, the 1st year student of the Faculty of International Journalism Yhlas Hallyev took second place.
At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded with letters of honor and gifts from the institute for their active participation and creative ability.
