The 26th of November – World Sustainable Transport Day
According to the resolution adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations, the 26th of November of each year is declared as “World Sustainable Transport Day”.
If we recall, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted Resolutions on the transport system at the initiative of Turkmenistan in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2021. These important documents became the basis for holding a number of major international forums on the transport system in Turkmenistan.
On the 24th of November, a scientific-practical conference called “Neutral Turkmenistan in the global sustainable transport system” was held at the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan.
During the conference, experts working in the field of sustainable transport system and transport logistics talked about the explanatory work aimed at increasing public knowledge on the sustainable transport system, in particular, increasing international transport traffic, promoting the development of ecological vehicles, promoting the development of socially advantageous transport infrastructures and other areas of sustainable transport.
At the end of the conference, a musical performance was organized by the musical group of the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications.
