Prizes Awarded to Essay-Writing Competition Winners
On January 13, 2023, the Turkmen Institute of National World Languages named after D.Azady awarded prizes to the winners of essay-writing competitions held among higher educational institutions of the country. At the successful essay writing competitions held online on November 10-19, 2022, the students were asked to share their thoughts on the topic “I and my values” in the working languages of the UN (English, Spanish , French, Russian, Arabic and Chinese).
A total of 30 students from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan participated in the competition and sent their essays written in the language they preferred through educational portal. The jury, composed of representatives of different language departments, was impressed by the exceptional quality and diversity of the essays.
According to the results of the competition, Baynazar Nepesov, 3rd-year student of the Faculty of International Affairs of the Institute of International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, won the grand prize, Kerim Baymyradov, 2nd year student of the same faculty won the second place, and Kuwwat Mamedov, 4th year student of the Faculty of International Relations won the 3rd place, and Kerven Babayev, 1st year student of the Faculty of International Law won the third place. Also, Yusup Karatayev, 2nd year student of the Faculty of International Law and Annaberdi Kashanov, 2nd year student of the Faculty of International Journalism were also awarded with the Certificate of Honor.
At the award ceremony for the competition, the grand prize winner, Baynazar Nepesov, said that “In our country, ample opportunities are created for the all- round development of young people. The year 2023 was declared as ‘Happy youth with Arkadag Serdar’”, so that young people can participate in economic, political and cultural life of our country. Also, thanks to the constant care of Hero Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan, all conditions are created for the youth to learn foreign languages.”
