Event dedicated to UN day
On October 21, 2022 a demonstration lesson entitled “The establishment of the UN, its protocol rules’’ was organized by the Faculty of International Relations of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The lecture was attended by the undergraduates of the Institute and students of secondary schools’ of Ashgabat.
The lecturer of the Faculty of International Relations, Akmuradov Rahym delivered a lecture on the history of the UN, its structure and activities in the area of International Relations.
Moreover, at the main hall, an exhibition was organized for the secondary school students by the Faculties of International Relations, International Law, International Economic Relations and International Journalism.
The United Nations officially came into existence on 24th of October, 1945, when the Charter had been ratified by China, France, The Soviet Union, The United Kingdom and The United States and by a majority of other signatories. Its supreme goal is to promote cooperation among countries, to prevent conflicts, to strengthen peace and trust, and to establish mutually beneficial partnership.
