Neutrality is the Source of Peace and Development
In the period of prosperity of our sovereign state under the wise leadership of our esteemed President, our independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan is confidently moving forward, taking decisive steps towards its bright future. The sustainable development of independent Turkmenistan is inextricably linked with its foreign policy of neutrality. Turkmen neutrality is a guarantee of peace in the region and throughout the world.
On December 3 this year, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, together with the National Council of Turkmenistan, National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan celebrated the 26th anniversary of permanent Neutrality. During the meeting, member of the People's Council of the National Council of Turkmenistan, chairperson of the Committee on International Affairs of the People's Council Mahri Bashimova, deputy of the Mejlis of the National Council of Turkmenistan, chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Interparliamentary Relational and International Affairs Merdan Tuvakov, the chairperson of National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan Akjemal Durdyyeva,senior lecturer of the department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Begench Karaev noted the importance of our friendly, peaceful and trustful foreign and domestic policy, as well as the authority of our Motherland at the international level, the neutrality of Turkmenistan and its importance.
During the event, the musical group of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan performed songs and dances, and some active staff of the institute were awarded with prizes from the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan.
