AN EXCURSION DEDICATED TO THE HOLIDAY
On May 22, 2025, an excursion of the National Museum of Turkmen Carpets was organized with the participation of active members of the first Women's Organization of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the excursion, organized on the eve of the Turkmen Carpet Holiday, the students were provided with information about the history of the origin of carpet patterns, the benefits of carpets for human health, the role of women in the art of carpet weaving that has survived to this day, as well as about the Carpet Holiday, which is celebrated in our country annually on the last weekend of May. During the excursion, experts of museum noted that this magnificent museum has become one of the popular places for tourists from all over the world.
Carpets, which have become an integral part of Turkmen life, are a wonderful monument of the ancient art of our people, who have made a huge contribution to the cultural heritage of all mankind.
It is noteworthy that the regular organization of such wonderful excursions has a great influence on the development of the abilities of students – future representatives of Turkmen diplomacy.
