CONTEST “NEUTRALITY – THE BASIS OF COOPERATION AND DEVELOPMENT”
On November 30, 2022, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, a contest titled “Neutrality – the basis of cooperation and development” was held with the participation of the 1st and 2nd year students of the Institute on the occasion of the International Day of Neutrality. The contest, organized by the “Lingvo World” Club of the Department of World Languages of the Institute, consisted of two rounds. In the first round, contestants made a presentation in English about the significance, history and legal basis of Turkmenistan’s neutrality. In the second round, they answered questions about Turkmenistan’s neutrality and foreign policy.
The aim of the contest was to reveal students’ abilities, to enlarge their knowledge on the foreign policy and neutrality of Turkmenistan and to develop their language skills. According to the results of the contest, the students of the Faculty of International Relations won the 1st place, the students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations won the 2nd place, the students of the International Law and International Journalism Faculties won the 3rd place.
