The competition was held
On May 7, 2021, the competition was held among the students of higher education institutions of our country, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the founding of the city of Ashgabat, the 30th anniversary of our Independence, and as well as Henry Dunant’s birthday , a founder of the International Committee of the Red Cross at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The students of Magtymguly Turkmen State University of Turkmenistan, one of the oldest universities in the country, the International University of Humanities and Development, as well as the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan attended this competition. The chief of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Turkmenistan, the representative of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, a researcher from the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan participated in the competition as jurors in order to make a fair assessment .
The competition was aimed at enhancing the participants' knowledge and use it in practice in international law and international humanitarian law, and the participants competed in terms of introducing themselves, answering various questions and coping in all different situations, as well as presentations and making videos.
At the end of the competition, a special distinguished team , the most active team leader and the winning team were announced and they were awarded with honourary letters and gifts. The young law students participating in the competition thanked our esteemed Arkadag for providing such opportunities to enhance their knowledge.
