Festive meeting entitled "Ashgabat – center of reconciliation, friendship and brotherhood"
On May 23, 2022, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a festive meeting entitled "Ashgabat – center for reconciliation, friendship and brotherhood", dedicated to the Day of the сity of Ashgabat. The event was organized by the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, the Main Archival Department of Turkmenistan and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The meeting was attended by representatives of the organizing structures, as well as the teaching staff and students of the Institute.
During the meeting, Amangeldy Orazov, senior lecturer of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, Dursunsolmaz Muhammedova, senior lecturer of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, People's Artist of Turkmenistan, member of the Union of Artists and the Union of Designers of Turkmenistan, Bossan Atayeva, specialist of the Main Archival Department of Turkmenistan , as well as Aybolek Kakabayeva, 4th year student of the Faculty of International Relations of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, volunteer of the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO made speeches.
The speeches expressed in detail about the historical development of the city of Ashgabat, in “The Revival of the New Era of the Powerful state” as a result of the policy of our esteemed President, the inclusion of white marble Ashgabat among the most beautiful cities in the world, about the systematic preparatory work carried out to include Ashgabat in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the category "Design", as well as the important role of the turkmen capital in the regional and international levels.
As part of the festive meeting, an exhibition of photographs of the Main Archive Department of Turkmenistan and an exhibition of fine art works by Dursunsolmaz Muhammedova, a senior lecturer at the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, were also presented, wonderful songs singing the beauty of the pearl capital were performed.
At the end of the event, the participants wished to the distinguished President of Turkmenistan great success in large-scale state deeds aimed at ensuring a happy life for the people and increasing the international prestige of the city of Ashgabat.
