PRESS CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO 300TH ANNIVERSARY OF MAGTYMGULY PYRAGY
On February 10, 2023, a press conference was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet of the East Magtymguly Pyragy under the name «Wisdom of the mind fills the world».
This press conference was attended by teachers and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, the International University for the Humanities and Development, the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports as well as the Turkmen State Institute of Culture.
The Great thinker and classic poet Magtymguly Pyragy is the founder of Turkmen classical literature. Despite the fact that many years have passed, to this day the poet's poems do not lose their values. Collections of poems of the Great thinker have been translated into many languages of the world.
Next year, the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy will be celebrated by all Turkic states. The ongoing events help popularize the literary heritage of the poet-philosopher. The press conference was concluded with answering several interesting questions of the students.
