A TRAİNİNG SESSİON “THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL IN PROVIDING DRINKING WATER AND SANITATION IN THE WORLD: THE EXPERIENCE OF TURKMENISTAN”
On March 26, 2025, a training session entitled “The Sustainable Development Goal in Providing Drinking Water and Sanitation in the World: the Experience of Turkmenistan” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The session was conducted by Gulshirin Charygulyeva, Deputy Head of the Department of Legal Affairs and Special Affairs of the Caspian Sea Institute of Turkmenistan.
In her presentation, the expert highlighted global efforts to address the water crisis, the importance of water diplomacy, and freshwater and sanitation issues. She also discussed multilateral cooperation in water resource restoration, the significance of the Turkmen lake “Altyn asyr” and water diplomacy priorities of Turkmenistan.
The session was successful with students asking engaging questions.
