ADVOCACY MEETING OF THE STATE COMMITTEE ON EMERGENCY
On January 3, 2022, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held an advocacy meeting in accordance with part 17 of chapter I of the Plan for 2022, which states “Organization of civil defense and emergency preparedness training in general education institutions, higher and secondary vocational education and other educational institutions”.
The meeting was chaired by Major Annagul Atayeva, Representative of the Ashgabat Department of Civil Defense and Rescue Affairs of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan, and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the speaker made a presentation on the types of emergencies, in particular, the organization of civil defense in the event of natural and man-made disasters, their features and rescue operations, as well as accumulated experience in this field.
At the end of the meeting, participants thanked the President for domestic and foreign policies aimed at ensuring peace and stability and wished him long life and success in his state affairs.
