Youth Festival dedicated to human rights
On December 8-9, 2021, the UN House in Ashgabat hosted the Youth Festival dedicated to human rights. The festival was attended by Richard Komenda, Regional Representative of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Central Asia, Yulia Votslova, Coordinator of National Youth Programs of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Yelena Butova, Coordinator of Programs of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, including Young SDG ambassadors and others. The participants of the festival focused on the UN Strategy for 2030, human rights, the impact of the digital world on human rights, international experience, the exemplary work being done in our country in this field, as well as various competitions were organized to further raise awareness in this area.
